You have several options. You can stay with a host family: you can get your own apartment -which you can share with a roommate if you want; or you can stay at a hotel.
- Host Family Staying with a host family is perfect if you want to be interacting with the American community full-time. A host family provides you with an English immersion environment and first hand exposure to the American culture. Your host family will provide you with a private room and two meals per day. By staying with a host family, you will have the opportunity to practice English every day and your conversational skills will improve quickly.
- Apartment If you are looking for more independence, you can get your own apartment. There are many apartments within walking distance of LCI's facilities. You may also choose to have a roommate. Many students like having roommates because it allows them to share the rent cost and is a good opportunity for making friends.
- Hotel You may also choose to stay at a hotel. Although this is a more expensive option, some students prefer the amenities of a hotel over a host family or apartment. LCI can assist you in finding a hotel close to our facilities.
Either way, we can help you with your housing situation. If you decide to stay with a host family, we can find that family for you and make all the arrangements. If you prefer to get your own apartment, we can find one for you close to LCI and we can even assist you with finding a roommate. Additionally if you choose a hotel, we can assist you in finding one close to our facilities.
As far as prices, lodging will cost around $650-$800 per month, or less if you decide to have a roommate.
